History

10cc members Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman opened this recording studio in Dorking, Surrey, in a former cinema. As the original Strawberry Studios North in Stockport was in great demand this 2nd studio was conceived to be used for 10cc recording sessions.

On 1980-08-17 (in the middle of their French tour) The Police flew back to the UK to re-mix their LP Zenyatta Mondatta at Strawberry Studios South. Stewart ate a curry meal there and got sick. He couldn't play next day's concert at Biarritz, France.
