On the same day Andy Summers performed in Kevin Ayers' band at Newcastle Polytechnic. Stewart and Andy met at the Drogenheyer Hotel after their concerts (according to Andy's book One Train Later - there is and was no such hotel around Newcastle - the most likely candidate for that meeting would be the Dragonara in Middlesbrough close to Newcastle).
