The Police and Ian watch a James Brown concert | |
---|---|
Date: | 1977-01-14 |
Location: | London, England, UK - Hammersmith Odeon |
Attendees: | Stewart Copeland, Sting, Ian Copeland |
Stewart Copeland and Sting worked together today. Ian Copeland had organized backstage passes for a James Brown concert at London's Hammersmith Odeon - as he remembers it in Wild Thing Stewart wanted to impress Sting (Stewart's diary doesn't explicitly mention who actually went to the concert with him...).
A Curved Air gig was listed to take place today at Newcastle's Mayfair, but there were no Curved Air concerts in 1977.
