The Police start recording Outlandos d'Amour at Surrey Sound Studios in Leatherhead, England, UK. They'll record 12 hours a day for seven days - costing 1400 UK pounds.
Sting arrived at Stewart Copeland's place and Miles Copeland dropped off some tapes. The drove to Surrey Sound Studios and worked with Nigel Gray on the following songs (in this order):
