On November 2, 2006, Andy Summers was scheduled to appear at Borders on Oxford Street, but the appearance was canceled. According to Andy's website, "Borders for reasons unknown cancelled the signing the night before the event without explanation. Andy was extremely upset and apologizes to all those who turned up. It now sounds as if Borders of Oxford St further have compounded the problem by lying about it. Once again apologies."[1]
