Sting signs on the dole at Lisson Grove in London, England, UK.
According to Broken Music (pp. 237 and 278) he went there every Wednesday afternoon.
Today was probably the day the events on pp. 278 / 279 of Broken Music took place. On his way to Lisson Grove Sting saw the Sex Pistols on the street and later went to the 100 Club with Stewart Copeland. They watched "Alternative TV" there and met Kim Turner who helped out on guitar.
