Trivia
Frances Tomelty was in Newcastle that week and when the star Alan Price took too long for his soundcheck she went onto the stage and told him that the support band Last Exit needed some time, too.
Last Exit played a decent set in front of a rather empty hall, but executives from Island Records, Virgin and A&M were listening.
