Date: | 2013-12-21 |
Location: | London, England, UK |
Attendees: | Sting, Clive Anderson, Nick Lowe, Orla Brady and David Quantick |
Sting is a guest on BBC Radio 4's 'Loose Ends' program - for an interview and performances of Soul Cake and The Last Ship.
Having witnessed The Police supporting Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias on 1979-12-18 David Quantick talks to Sting about this experience in a pub after the radio show - and Sting remembered that part of his career well. The Police played their heart out to impress the audience - and it worked really good. The Albertos' drummer Bruce Mitchell noticed it as well, as he mentioned to a sweat-dripping Sting backstage at one of their concerts ""So that's your game, is it?".
Sting also watched Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle United (0:3) with Jimmy Nail.
