Sting went here to go skiing, after deciding to return and record demos. Together with Jean Roussel he recorded Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic at Le Studio, a version which The Police couldn't improve on. The Police would work at Le Studio in early 1983 to finish their album Synchronicity.

History
- André Perry conceived and designed Le Studio (Morin Heights) which he operated with his life and business partner Yaël Brandeis. Tucked in the Laurentian Mountains, 65 km from Montreal, Le Studio was created based on a revolutionary concept, defeating acoustic rules, blending creativity with technology. Not only was it located outside the metropolitan area, it was daringly far from the mainstream global music centers. Le Studio was the first refined ‘environmental recording studio’ in which artists were embedded for the duration of the recording process, which sometimes lasted more than 4 months, in an atmosphere of creative protection and encouragement.
- Michael Godin (A&R director for A&M Canada) had asked André Perry about a place in the Laurentian Mountains where Sting could relax and go skiing between concerts. André offered Le Studio's guest house.
- Among Le Studio's clients were acts like Bryan Adams, the Bee Gees, David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Chicago, Ian Hunter, Nazareth, Keith Richards and Rush.
