Trivia
Andy Summers played the first half of the concert with Bill Coleman on double bass and Steve Brown on drums. This was not his regular band; it was the 'house' rhythm section for the event.
Erle Montaigue has been Andy's friend since meeting him in 1976:
"When I met Andy, he was playing for Kevin Coyne and before that with the New Animals with Eric Burdon. Andy used to have very long straight blonde hair. He came to me one days in 1977 and said that he had joined a punk band and that they would call it "The Police". His words were something like "Don't Know If We'll Do Any Good Though" !!! Famous last words eh! :) I moved back to Australia in late 77 and heard a song by a band called "The Police" Roxanne! Then they toured Australia and I picked Andy up at the Gazebo Hotel in Kings Cross Sydney in my battered old Holden (Vauxhall) car to take him sight-seeing. He is an avid photographer and wanted to get pictures of Aboriginal people in Sydney. So I took him to the area in which Aboriginal people lived. He would poke in through doors and snap pictures! One chap took offence at this and came after us! He tapped Andy on the shoulder just about to bust him, then said "Hey, You're in that band, The Police. Aren't you? Can I have your autograph?" Saved!! :)"
At this moment (July 2009) Erle is recording in a Paris studio with producer Jean Roussel.
