Introduction

"Nomis Studios" was founded by Simon Napier-Bell in 1977 as a rehearsal space for his band "Japan" - his first name spelled backwards being the inspiration for the name.

The Police rehearsed there for the upcoming German tour on 1981-09-26 and 1981-09-27.

Other artists who used the facilities were Tina Turner, the Rolling Stones
