Introduction

The Moog Taurus is a is a foot-operated analog synthesizer. The Police used several ones to enhance their live sound.

Gear breakdown

Sting used his first Moog Taurus on 1979-04-03, later adding a second one.

Andy Summers got one, too - his Moog Taurus featured a walrus sticker which he received on 1980-01-25.
