This is a very basic template to use for articles about events in Police history. You can add header sections and images as you feel necessary in order to properly illustrate the event. For actual performances, please use [[Template:Performance]] instead. Event articles should be named in the YYYY-MM-DD format to be properly registered in the timeline calendars.

The SS Oriana in 1985 - provided by Neil Whitmore
Date: 1976-07-17
Location: Southampton, UK - SS Oriana
Attendees: Sting, Gerry Richardson, Ronnie Pearson

Sting will be playing standards as part of the Ronnie Pearson Trio (not Last Exit!) to entertain an elderly audience on a cruise aboard the SS Oriana. The ship leaves Southampton today.

According to Broken Music they played 3 times a day. The cruise went past the Biskaya, Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands, Sicily and the Greek Islands to Izmir, Turkey. The final port before returning to Southampton was again Gibraltar.

They return to Southampton at the end of the summer.

According to crew member Neil Whitmore and similar itineraries from other SS Oriana journeys the cruise should have lasted at least two weeks.
