Introduction
Also known as Apollo Centre or Apollo. The Apollo Theatre (Glasgow) opened in 1973 and closed in 1985. Johnny Cash was the first to play there. It hosted concerts by (among others) Abba, the Kinks, the Rolling Stones, Genesis and the Who.
