Introduction

New Orders was a booking agency headed by Miles Copeland. Their first promotion was a 1977-01-10 London concert by Squeeze, Generation X and The Zips.

Billboard from January 22, 1977 mentioned that New Orders would concentrate on tour coordination for new wave acts and may set up a label to handle product from these acts.

In 1977 and early 1978 Stewart Copeland would visit the offices on a regular basis.
