Sting and Trudie Styler are among the 300 guests attending a reception in the East Room of The White House in Washington, DC, USA. Bruce Springsteen, Robert de Niro and others were lauded with Kennedy Center Honors.

After the reception a concert was held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with Sting performing Bruce Springsteen's The Rising.

Sting and Bruce Springsteen were honoured at a top secret Amnesty International party at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel (Tai Pan Lounge) in Washington, DC, USA.
