Last Exit were hired as the pit band for the Rock Nativity musical - additional musicians being Derek Lunn (drums) and Iwan Williams (keyboards). They were not credited as Last Exit in the programme or media publicity.

According to Sting's Broken Music they started rehearsing in mid-October 1974. He also mentions that rehearsals began a few days (?) after one of Last Exit 's gigs (the first one was on 1974-10-16).
