Introduction
The Moog Taurus is a foot-operated analog synthesizer. The Police used several ones to enhance their live sound.
Gear breakdown
Sting's first Moog Taurus is already mentioned on an equipment list for the 1979-03-20 concert; he later added a second one to his setup.
Andy Summers got one, too - his Moog Taurus featured a walrus sticker which he received on 1980-01-25. Sting used Andy's instrument in Bombay and Cairo 1980.
