Introduction
This album was produced between August and November 1978. Sting and Andy Summers probably recorded their parts in August 1978. Stewart Copeland does not play on this record as he was busy recording the second Klark Kent single Too Kool To Kalypso at Surrey Sound Studios.

Variants, special editions and re-releases
A few songs from this record and some from Trance-Formation and Flashback were combined for the 1979 UK LP release Video-Flashback.
In 1981 an LP with the same name was released in the USA and Canada - but it featured songs from the same three records as above.
In 1986 a variation of this LP was released in Germany as Eberhard Schoener, Sting, Andy Summers. Octogon was replaced by Rhine-Bow (from the LP Flashback) and Code-Word Elvis was presented in an edited 4:08 min version. The LP cover mentions remixes in 1986.
