Hugh first met Sting at The Town House (where he worked as house engineer) in mid 1979 when Sting was producing Duggie Campbell's Enough To Make You Mine. He met Stewart Copeland at his Shepherd's Bush home in London on 1981-05-30, shortly after The Police unsuccessfully tried their last recording session with Nigel Gray at Surrey Sound Studios. His first meeting with Andy was on Montserrat.
