Band history

In early 1980 Henry was a member of two bands at the same time - The Flying Padovanis and The Subterraneans.

The Subterraneans rehearsed for about a month in Vauxhall before their first ever concert was supposed to happen at the Screen On The Hill in February / March 1980 in London. Maybe due to stage fright Nick Kent disappeared the day before that.

Later in 1980 the band DID some concerts with another line-up and also released a single without Henry: My Flamingo b/w Veiled Woman

Band members

  • Nick Kent - vocals / guitar
  • Henry Padovani - guitar
  • Chris Musto - drums
  • Glen Matlock - bass
