Sting attends the 40th Annual Grammy Awards in New York, NY, USA. He presented the "Living Legend" award to Luciano Pavarotti (and also collected the award on his behalf).

Sting and Trudie Styler later joined Polygram's post-Grammy party at the Racquet and Tennis Club - eating pasta.
