=Production=
For this TV special [[Sting]] went back to Ken Kiernan's [[Keystone Studios]] in Dublin, Ireland, where they had previously recorded demos for [[Zenyatta Mondatta]]. They overdubbed and remixed the original live tapes. A lot of material from [[Police In The East]] was later edited with further recordings from the [[1980-1981 Zenyatta Mondatta Tour]] for the [[Around The World]] video release.

The TV special was first broadcast on [[1980-10-10]] at 7:30PM on BBC 2 in the UK.
