Biography

Florian Pilkington-Miksa was the original drummer of Curved Air.

In 1975/1976 he owned a house in Barnes (South West London) with illustrious guests inside. Stewart Copeland lived there with Sonja Kristina. Sean Lyons lived there with his family. There were more people ... and it got crowded when Ian Copeland moved there, too.

When Stewart Copeland didn't continue working with Public Zone after August 1977 Florian Pilkington-Miksa became the official drummer of the band (which split up soon after).

He shared The Police's first appearance on television with the band. Klark Kent had to perform Don't Care on Top Of The Pops in August 1978. The band supporting Klark Kent during this performance consisted of Sting on bass, Andy Summers and Kim Turner on guitars and Florian Pilkington-Miksa on drums - all wearing masks.
