Trivia
Sting and Trudie Styler are honorees at the We Are Family Honors event.
Following the red carpet procedure and reception, Nile Rodgers and Nancy Hunt welcomed the evening’s guests.
After several speeches Caryl Stern, Nile Rodgers, Nancy Hunt, Slater Jewell-Kemker and Ndaba Mandela together presented Sting and Trudie Styler with the Humanitarian Award (for making a difference for children around the world and protecting the environment).
The event was originally planned to take place on 2012-10-29, but had to be rescheduled because of hurricane Sandy. Sting couldn't participate on the rescheduled date of 2013-01-31 as he was attending a memorial in Los Angeles the day before.
