Trivia
Originally today's concert was scheduled to take place at the Orpheum Theatre.
A ticket stub for a Stage West concert on January 18, 1980 features the handwritten support acts Fàshiön and Moon Martin on its back. Luke Skyscraper Jones from Fàshiön remembers being late for one concert with Moon Martin, thus having to play after him. Both bands also supported The Police on 1979-10-05, but a review for that show confirms that on that day Fàshiön played before Moon Martin. Which means that there was at least one other concert with both Fàshiön and Moon Martin.
The Police's concerts from around this period were heavily re-scheduled - this whole week was once planned for other venues with other support acts... It's very probable that the re-scheduling of concerts led to this Stage West concert's earlier date.
