Trivia

Early tour schedules mentioned two shows at Eric's in Liverpool for this day. But the venue was switched to the Empire, probably because The Police's increasing popularity resulted in increasing ticket sales.

A ticket for the Empire show suggests that there might have been two performances there - which is ruled out by people attending the event. There was only one show today, which was reviewed in Melody Maker - June 9, 1979.
