Trivia

In the afternoon The Police are interviewed at Wartoke by Cathy Nemeth for "New York Rocker" (January 1979 issue). Photos were taken by Beate Nilsen, one can be seen in The Police: A Visual Documentary by Miles on the April 1979 page.

(Wartoke management represented The Police, John Cale, Patti Smith, Frank Zappa and many others. Jane Friedman was the head of Wartoke management...)

After this final concert of The Police's first US tour - in front of about 40 people - a few journalists were invited backstage. Steve Weitzman talked to Stewart Copeland and they both remembered that a few years ago they spent a night with Joan Armatrading listening to music at Steve Weitzman's house in Philadelphia (Stewart was Joan Armatrading's tour manager at that time).
