December 7 | Help pages have been updated on certain matters which I would like to bring to users' attention. The issue of venue names which have changed through the years is addressed in Help:Naming articles. Policies on using image files from other websites has been added to Help:Images and other media. Determining situations in which separate events on the same day do or don't require separate entries is now discussed at Help:Events. We ask all regular and new contributors to take a moment to review these policies.--Sockii 05:26, 7 December 2008 (PST) |
November 6 | Introducing a new feature at the PoliceWiki: Fan profiles! You can now use Template: Fan to either dress up your user page or to create a new page about yourself as a fan of The Police and/or Sting, Stewart, and Andy. We'd like to encourage the use of the PoliceWiki to create a directory of fans and as a way that fans can talk about and record their own involvement in Police fandom. Please see Help:Articles, however, for expanded rules on creating and editing pages about individuals.--Sockii 05:23, 6 November 2008 (PST) |
October 21 | I'm currently working on a calendar system so the main page can display selected historical events for each day of the year. Please be patient as I work on getting the "kinks" out!--Sockii 12:58, 21 October 2008 (PDT) |
